I think it would be a fun experience for students to also create an ePortfolio, even if it is a very watered-down project where they can learn to express themselves in a positive way. If students had a way to reflect, it could also lead to healing (for those in the trauma-based schools). Many of my students are in this situation and could really use an outlet to express themselves whether through art, music, or writing. As our district is beginning to move to a 1:1 initiative, this may be an option to try once it trickles down to our building. I would love to try to incorporate ePortfolio use with my students as I feel they could truly benefit from having a platform to express themselves. By using this platform and the COVA model, students could finally be able to open up to new ideas.
