Innovation - A Call to Action!

A Call to Action!  It’s time to innovate, motivate and create!  Let’s get our students more engaged in their learning process by giving them choice and ownership.  By incorporating project-based learning in the music classroom, we can motivate our students and create a stronger connection to our community through music.  Which places in our community are culturally significant to our students?  The Suspension Bridge, the Flood Wall, and of course our school!  These are only a few of the many places that have an impact on the Island.  Let’s begin building stronger community connections using 21st century skills (creativity, collaboration, communication & critical thinking).
