Professional Growth
Through Networking
Professional learning networks are great resources to provide a place for feedback, discussion and new ideas. They have helped me tremendously throughout the years whether it’s for support and solidarity or finding new ways to introduce music to a non-verbal autistic class. Without many of these networks, I’m not sure I would’ve been as successful in my teaching experiences. The networks below that I have been a part of are only a small amount of what I am currently a member of. Now that I am working on the DLL program, I will be researching more networks to try to find more in my field and area. The collaborative effort of these groups and the time many people invest is amazing! I am constantly learning new ideas from my many groups and contributing my own experiences with others to give new and old teachers more resources to use.
