Ownership typically begins with one’s own ideas taking shape. The ePortfolio does just that! It is meant to express one’s ideas and work. With the use of COVA, it also helps create ownership because the person is given choice on how they want to express those ideas. So far, this program has been fantastic in helping me get out of the traditional mindset of class expectations where projects and assignments feel robotic in nature; doing what is necessary to get the A. So, in the end, who owns my ePortfolio? The answer is simple…I do! The work is completely mine. The ideas are mine. Everything about it is mine because I am choosing what to include, I own my own ideas and am using my voice to present my ideas in my own way.
